Moon-Moon the space pirate

Hello lads and lasses !

It's been a week since my last post and it's time for another update.

So what's been up this week ?

New art project : Card replacement

Last week i have started working on a simple project so i could get back into the habit of making art.

So i looked at my current ongoing hobbies and one of my current hobbies is playing YuGiOh! TCG and Master Duel.

For this hobby i've using EDOPRO or Project Ignis as a way to test out new decks and get a feel for the archetypes.

To be fair i feel that Master duel or the TCG cost alot to be enjoyed wether it is time or money so this simulator have proven to be quite useful for that.

If you are wondering what archetype i play it's mostly Elemental Hero, Endymion/Spellbook and i'm trying to make a red eyes/Flame Swordsman deck.

Something fun with Ignis is that it is very easy to mod and to change card appearance.

Thus i though that as a way to try and get back into drawing i would draw YuGiOh cards with my style so that i can work on my basics while making something "useful".

I was going to start with the Charmer Archetype as i lile the very clear elemental design but for some inexplicable reason i ended up wanting to draw more Moon-Moon (my friend's OC).

One thing led to another and now i'm using the Lunalight to make the Luna-Lunalight.

FES01-001 Space Pirate, Moon-Moon

Not too shabby of an illustration if i do say so myself.

For context that was an original character i had designed as a mascot for a friend which had see a resurgeance lately with my friend and I's joking.

Thus the character that was once called Nyanna was renamed as Moon-Moon - a space pirate who roam the universe to steal unusual and worthless things.

She also have a secret identity as Sailor Moon-Moon a Sailor Moon inspired heroine who nukes evil from orbit.

That's the gist of her lore but i can appreciate a simple lore.

She acts as the replacement for card 11439455 in project Ignis : Lunalight Blue Cat.

Here is the card version for those intrested.

The arrival of the About page

And now we reach the website update.

I have written the About page, and who knew an about page could make me feel emotional.

I wanted that about page to be more personal - after all it's a page about me so i at least have to let go of the secrecy a bit.

Writting it made me think alot about my grandpa which had been a source of courage and hope for me and also to realize once again that if i am alive today and if i didn't gave up on life it was because of his kindness.

So i hope i can continue to be myself and create things that i love.

See you next friday !
