Yapping - Another week of lost sleep and hobbies

 Hello lads and lasses,

Once again i'll be yapping this week since i haven't been drawing lately - mostly because i spent alot of time gaming with friends.
Elden Ring Nightreign have been taking over my life for a while lately and when i've not been dying repeatady in it i've been watching Anime.
So i'm going to ramble on multiple topic today - since i don't have a substancial enough topic and i'd rather avoid just dissapearing like last 2 weeks.

So first off Elden Ring Nightreign, i've been enjoying it alot honestly, although i have heard mixed opinion from people before it even released.
It's a roguelike PVE battle royal like souls game, which sounds like a lot of buzzword for not alot of clarity.
Bassicly you spawn in one of the edge of the map where you can start looting, after a set ammount of time the damage zone will shrink the play area to a degree.
When the play area reaches a certain size you'll fight the Night boss, if you triumph the damage zone will clear out, letting you explore the entierity of the map again.

When you have defeated the Second night boss you'll have to face a Nightlord - a powerful boss who will turn you into dust if you suck -like me.
Wether you win or die you'll return to the Hub were you'll have received a few relics to upgrade your playstyle and an ammount of permanant souls.
These souls allows you to buy relics, cosmetics and other upgrades at the shop in the Hub.

I find this game to be quite addictive - especially when being played with 2 other friends, as it test your cooperation and allows for good bantering.
Although i'd say this depend on the friend group which you would play with, i have the luck of having friends that are the same brand of stupid as i am so we've been having fun.
You can also play Nightreign alone but i wouldn't reccomand it as much other than for playing a much harder souls experiance.

I've heard people complain about the fact that there was only a single map available - which is somewhat true since it's a procedural generated map per run.
Although with Events that change the landscape and the variety of places to visit i'd say it plays more on the replayability of that map rather than exploration.
Another thing i believe people are glancing over is that this game will be receiving updates and DLCs are planned which means more clownery.

Talking about something else, i've been watching quite alot of anime this past week - watching the entierity of Tsukimichi and the first season of Arifureta.
Saddly i've been a bit disapointed in these shows as they don't scratch the itch that really make me appreaciate Isekai anime.
I like it when isekai anime develop their system and explain at length how the world or a craft works - An example would be Deathmarch to another world.

Talking about Deathmarch - this is my favorite isekai anime and have become sort of a benchmark of the stuff i like in these kind of anime.
Although Satou, the protagonist, is overpowered, the anime dosn't concentrate on it - It's more focused on the journey, the people and Satou messing around with the crafts.
I'd say that some part are very tropey but that's something that have never really bothered me in shows.

I'd also like to talk about Satou's party, which are composed of mostly slave he have rescued/bought.

Althought the slave backstory feels more like an excuse - i find it very satisfying to see him dote on them, which to me makes half of the fun of the story.
I've been smilling alot to the two youngest beastgirl Tama and Poochie which are just adorable girls trying their best - I believe it trigger some primal father instinct in my brain.

Also funnilly enough - They remind me of Hololive's Korone and Okayu, which are also a Daog girl and a cat girl with similar coloring.
Even their reaction can be similar which might just be a coincidance - but i like to imagine that it's just adult version of the two girls.
That being said i might be biased since i liked Deathmarch so much i've read the light novel, which i can only get in english for some reason.

Anyhow i feel like i have spent enough time yapping...

See you all next friday.
