Yapping - Emotes and Character design

Hello lads and lasses,

Sorry for last week - i had a four days long weekend and was kinda busy so i missed the posting time.
That and i didn't had much to talk about nor post.
Althought Mind you - today is kind of the same : I have started work on the next card but haven't really finished it.

Instead i have worked on character design for the cast of my game and i worked on a sort of hobby project of mine - Emotes.
So i guess let's talk about that.

First off the work on my cast - It's going alright, i have planned a bit more about the redesigned races and the overall esthetic of the characters.
Although if i'm being honest i still have to rework one of them as i am not fully sure about their design.
If you are curious i use a Koikatsu Sunshine better repack version as a pose and character design tool.
Coupled with the chara studio which allows you to pose your characters how you want, it makes it very easy to use.

It might sound wierd to hear that i use a hentai game as a posing tool but it's the best thing i found since Senran Kagura.
For fun here is an example capture of the Senran Kagura characters posing i had done.

Speaking of something else i have began work on my full body version of the Emote project.
So what's that ?
last year i have created a pack of emotes that i have been using on discord alot.
I was motivated to make one myself after seeing so many people owning emotes for their character (alot of Vtuber too).
Out of spite and envy i made my own emote pack, featuring my characters.
After i began having my own emotes, my friends began to ask me about having their own OCs emotes.

After thinking for a while i decided to do it for one other person which soon turned into more of my friends asking me.
That's when i decided to create the "Beeg" version, where i'd create the emotes in the 1240 by 1240 pixel size so i had a bigger canvas to work with.
The goal was to be able to not only create a basic pack but to also allow for customisable emotes.
The project soon turned into what it is today with alot of assets, a base pack and the possibility to create one's own emotes for various uses.

And this weekend i have decided to take it a step futher after much pressure from friends - doing the full body versions so they might use their own character for alot of things.
As such i have used Moon-Moon as a test character and made the full-body version using her.
I taken inspiration from the Pepako for the body as i didn't knew how to best represent the chibi body of these small characters.

I am quite proud of the current look of things, i might evolve the design a bit but it's fine if it stays like this.
